Merchant Patrol Quick Start
Merchant Patrol is a post-build, pre-handoff validation and proof layer for Shopify agencies.
1. Create an agency project
Name the client project and provide the public, staging, preview, or deployable URL that should be validated.
2. Run public deployment validation
Merchant Patrol observes public pages, classifies page type, runs deterministic validation, records evidence, and produces Validation Proof.
3. Read the Proof Card
The Proof Card shows what was publicly observable, what was validated, what was not comparable, and what is outside this scan's range.
4. Common statuses
- PASS: deterministic validation passed within stated scope.
- FAIL: deterministic validation found a public observable issue.
- UNKNOWN: page type or result cannot be assigned with enough evidence.
- UNOBSERVABLE: the public surface did not provide enough observable evidence.
- NOT_COMPARABLE: comparison basis is missing or invalid.
5. Scheduled Patrol
Scheduled Patrol re-validates public deployment results after handoff and reports public drift. Free Trial may expose this as a limited preview.
6. AI Proof roadmap
AI Proof / AI Action Proof is planned as an evidence-bound memo layer. Deterministic validation remains the source of truth. AI must not override PASS, FAIL, UNKNOWN, UNOBSERVABLE, or evidence gap states.
